On Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm we will be meeting in front of Lord Byng for our 8th annual walk to remember classmates that are no longer with us.
The original concept came from Wayne, who a few years ago wrote:
in December 2012 a number of us got together on a rainy Sunday afternoon to walk the old 2.2 in memory of our classmate Robert Rutley, who died suddenly in November of that year. I believe everyone who joined this modest trek got something spiritual out of the experience. I know I did. As we parted with hugs, handshakes and kisses, we agreed to do it again next year. And we did. It rained again, but as happened in the first year, for a few minutes along the trek the clouds broke and the sun popped through.
I hope to see many of my old classmates there.
We hope to continue holding this walk on the second Sunday in December every year.
